For you civilians in the crowd the title of this post means I’m going to lose contact with the rest of the world on purpose. I’m moving across the battle space and won’t have connectivity for a while. I’ve got a couple of automated posts lined up to keep your attention while I’m on the move. Once I get settled in again I’ll let you know.

Google Mail just notified me that my e-mail account had recently been accessed from Iraq. No shit Sherlock. My e-mail account has been getting accessed from Iraq for nearly seven months and somebody just now noticed? Good thing I don’t keep my money in Google Bank, or have a Google Visa. No telling how long it would take them to notice that identity had been stolen.
I thought Google was supposed to know everything now. Hell, the name of the company has turned into a verb – “Just Google it.” But it takes them seven months to figure out that I’m checking my e-mail from a third world country. Nice.
In case you haven’t noticed, and I’m sure you haven’t based on my recent stats, the layout has changed again. It doesn’t sound that hard to do, but it had been a couple of years since I updated my install of WordPress and there was lots of background crap to change.
