And for the both of you that give a rat’s ass, here are pictures of the St. Barbara award framed and the newest eagle in my collection.

Another Father’s Day as part of the extended family, and a pretty good one to boot. The kids loaded me down with gifts to include a new pewter eagle for the collection, a bag for my golf shoes, a home made gift from THE BOY and my Saint Barbara’s award matted and framed. Not a bad haul at all. Now if I could just somebody to do my homework for me.

Man has it been a hectic week. THE WOMAN was out of town on ‘business’ and left me to content with the kids by myself. Fortunately they understand that I’ve killed people before and will not hesitate to do it again. None of them wants to be next in line, proving that very often fear can be a good thing.

What the hell is it about soccer that makes the fans so violent? The way I see it is that if a country that once welcomed the Nazis throws you in jail for showing your ass after a soccer game then you need to be severely medicated.

I don’t get it. First there was a group trying to claim that Superman was gay. And now there are people who claim that Supes is really Christ. Which is it? Maybe this is the answer to the fudge packer’s prayers, not only is Christ a rump rider but he’s the strongest one on the planet – and God’s only Son to boot.

Things are hectic at the office too. A couple of big meetings with the “Senior Leadership” today and tomorrow that I’ve had to pull pretty much out of my butt. The boss is his typical bi-polar stress basket over those, but I’m getting used to him being that way. Maybe I’ll start mixing Lithium in with his morning coffee.

It’s going to be a busy weekend with the U.S. Open kicking off so you may not get much from me between now and the final round. I’m pulling for Phil by the way because I think that Calloway makes better clubs and balls than Nike.

At least the blog is fully functional again. Which is more than the Metro will be if they let clowns, jugglers, and street musicians onto the station platforms. With all the chaos and gawking fat ass tourists on the platforms now, do you really think that we need more distractions? Shit that’s one screwed up idea. Although pole dancers on the cars and watching mimes get tossed onto the electric rail has potential to draw people into the stations. But with rider ship at an all time high, why the push to get more people into the system?
