Bet most of you thought I’d be MUCH farther to the right. More likely you guys are just more a part of leftist elites than you are willing to admit to yourself.
I’m crushed. Devastated. Will never watch the show again.
Hell, the only reason to watch Idol was to try to guess what kind of drugs Paula was on this week. She’s too old to add any T&A to the show. Lord knows she never gave any of those kids practical advice on singing. It was real feat for her to simply stay lucid for the entire hour.
I do wonder where she’ll get her twenty year old tail from now on.
It’s called the Free State Project. While they’re not giving the state away for free, they are trying to free it from the tyranny of a large Federal Government. Which is a pretty good concept, one that’s doomed from the start to fail.
Like most good ideas in the public arena this one is never going to explode like it should. The idea of decreasing the tax burden of the people while reducing the amount of government intrusion in daily life is a very good one. I like the sound of a government that’s only functions are to protect life, liberty and property. Sounds quite a bit like what the Founders were after in the early 1700′s doesn’t it?
Still, it is in New Hampshire. Lord knows that states got more freaks per square foot than Hollywood, so to say that it was a bit of a bad location choice is a huge understatement. Wyoming, Idaho or Montana would have made the project seem like another white separatist movement. So I guess that New Hampshire was the only choice left.
Still, it’ll never take off in a big way. And that’s a shame.
