Did you guys see this pic on the USAToday website this morning?

I’d guess from the looks of things they took it on a Friday morning at around 0545. But’s that is only a guess based on how light the traffic is and the lack of sunlight.

Everyone I talk to from THE OLD COUNTRY is amazed at how those of us living in the DC area are able to tolerate the traffic. I always thought a long commute in the early morning hours was one of the sacrifices one has to make to be at the center of power for the Free World. If one wants to do great things in life one has to be willing to so some hard things.

Besides, people in the District love to work. All that fishing and spending time with the kids is for the commoners that live out in Arkansas or somewhere. We’ve got our priorities right here in DC. No need to raise our own kids when we can hire illegal aliens to do it for us.

If you don’t like the traffic, then move.  But quit bitching about something you have the ability to change.  At least for yourself.
