My bad attitude about work must be spreading.
Our administrative assistant was seen in tears at lunch in the ladies room. A few minutes ago the boss pushed this web page on workplace violence to the staff. I guess that covers his ass legally if one of us decides to play Post Office later on this week.
Yesterday really sucked. No other way to say it.
I was out of the office for 15 weeks going to school, then took another 2 weeks of vacation before coming back. Yesterday was my first day back in the saddle so to speak and it was worse than I’d thought it might be.
- THEY gave my cube away.
- THEY promoted an incompetent boob into the job I was supposed to have.
- THEY didn’t have a cube (or even a chair) for me to work from.
- THEY downgraded my computer to a Dell GX270. A model that Dell quit making in 2001.
- THEY took me out of the phone directory, so now I don’t have one of those either.
When I find “THEY“, I’m going to do some ass kicking.
