What could be better than the birthday of the greatest nation that God ever created? Nothing. So kick back and enjoy your day celebrating all the blessings of Liberty that the United States Army continues to bring you.

A few days ago I made some comments about a reporter from the Post who claimed that the Post didn’t slant the news. Ok, so the guy lied. But he was just defending his paycheck so I guess he can be excused for his lies.

This morning’s web edition of the Post had nearly a dozen links to stories that were anti-Bush, but only three links for the London bombing. Meanwhile, the Drudge Report had six links for the bombing, almost all of them pointing out the links between the bombers and Iraq/al Quedea/Islam.

And let’s not forget to note, that while the oh-so-respected Post is more than willing to bash the current President for the pardon of Scooter Libby they can’t seem to recall all the criminals that received pardons and commuted sentences in the waning hours of the Clinton dynasty. A dynasty that appears to be in jeopardy, despite all the star power and cash it can bring to the table.

You guys know that I normally don’t pimp books on this site. Well, except for the big ass ad on the lower right of your screen. But Crazies to the Left of Me is different. Goldberg comes off as a guy with a hell of a lot of common sense. He gets his shots in on both political parties and damn near crucifies the New York Times – stopping just a gnat’s ass short of blaming them for the decline of the nation.

This is one of those things that should be required reading for anyone that is going to vote. It’s a quick read at 270 pages and never gets off topic. He really beats the living crap out of the current crop of Democrats for abandoning their liberal ideals. When it comes to racism he hits the nail squarely on the head when he calls out white liberals for feeling guilty about being born white. But they are never guilty enough to do anything about it that will affect them. He slams Republicans for selling their souls for a handful of minority votes and destroying the party of Goldwater and Reagan.
