TC the Terrible

I knew that the Army’s new uniform was good, but I never thought that it also blended in with tacky furniture.

USA Today has a story on the Top 25 events in the “history” of the Internet.  And nowhere does it mention the Big Head Rob/DC versus Roosh V blog wars.

Can you believe it?  How can that be?  Is the CIA behind yet another cover-up?  Or is that their pissing contest wasn’t really that big of a deal?

Yeah, I guess I have been rather quite for the past few days. The couple of posts that did go up were automated things that I had set up weeks ago.

I haven’t posted because frankly I’ve been too busy/exhausted to write up anything. THE WOMAN and I broke down and bought a new house a few weeks ago. The new place is absolutely perfect, except for the paint colors. The prior owners clearly hired Stevie Wonder to paint, and let Ray Charles pick the colors. We’re talking a yellow room with purple carpet; an highlighter orange upstairs bath; and a formal sitting room that was the color of split pea soup.

Not that we bought one of these, but we also didn’t get anything quite like this . We settled for something in the middle. It’s taken a week and nearly 15 cans of paint/primer, but we’ve got normal colors on the walls now. This weekend we’re getting new carpet through out the house. Then, once Verizon gets our phones and Fios turned on, we’ll be ready to move in.  Maybe then I’ll have a chance to get some sleep.  Or at least sleep without dreaming about having to paint the 18 foot high vaulted ceiling for the third time.  Yes, the prior owners painted the ceilings to match the rooms.

Once we’ve got the new flooring in, I’ll post some before and after shots.
