I’ve got zero time today for blogging. Damned real work keeps getting in the way. I do have a couple of comments on some current events.
- Sugar coat it all you want, but these kids are defending cheaters. Their intellectual property arguements may have merit but that’s a fortunate side note at best. All these kids are doing is saying that their generation is too lazy to formulate independent ideas. The MTV generation is the beginning of the end for our society. Like Mom used to tell me, rules only bother the people that plan to break them.
- I was pissed that Circuit City was firing people. Until SDFM told me that she still has a job. Now I really don’t give a flying fuck. It’s too bad they cut her current BF, but he should be fine in a week or so. Think they can out source the sales force to India or Pakistan? That’s the next step in the process.
- TV causes kids to be fat? That’s a crock of shit. Parents not doing their job teaching kids what to eat and making them play outside is what makes kids fat. This is smoke screen for adults who would rather have someone to blame than take responsibility for their own failings.
- We’re winning the Global War on Terror because Iraqi bloggers are happy. That’s a really good metric to use.
- If school girls are dumb enough to give someone pictures of themselves naked, they deserve whatever comes from it. Life is hard. Being dumb makes it harder.
- Even with Tiger pushing for a quality event in DC the PGA is still going to screw us. Tim Finchem deserves a flaming hot poker shoved up his ass.
That’s it. Time to do some work.
