This guy pisses me off.  If he wants us out of Iraq, fine.  If he thinks W is a rat bastard idiot, fine. 

But don't say that we need to pull our troops out because some of them have died or been wounded.  That is short changing the sacrifices that have been made.  He whines about having to tell families that their sons have died.  Some of us walk by a memorial to our dead friends every day.  We accept that as part of the job.

Every soldier and Marine signed a contract with this nation to protect and defend it.  That requires, from time to time, the loss of life and limb.  Each man that wears the uniform knows that.  It was a choice made of his own free will.

If getting out of Iraq now is the right then to do, fine.  But don't make that choice because you do not have the stomach for a war.  And don't take the pussy way out by cutting off funds to the men and women that are willing to give their life to protect you.  Stand up and be a man Vilsack.  Pull the troops out because you don't believe in it.  Not because you don't have the stomach to do what others are willing to do.
