It was damn cold.  That's how cold it was last night.  In fact when I went out to the car this morning the bottles of water I had in the hatchback were frozen solid.

• I guess you could say that he's going to get it in the end for giving it in the end.  I'm buggered about how they could only charge "the accused" Michael Devlin with only 69 counts of sodomy when he held the kid captive for over four years.  He probably tagged the kid that many times in the first couple of months, just like a kid with a new toy.
• You have to wonder why kids think death is their only out.  What was so bad in their lives that the only way to make it better was to punch out on a permanent basis?  My life has sucked at times.  But nothing that made me figure out a way to end it.
• A one size fits all style driver's license only makes sense to people that don't have to deal with the state budget.  The only reason they exist is raise revenue for the state issuing it.  Well, that and to keep kids off of the streets for a little while.  But the real reason is dollars.
• Any number that's followed by the word "trillion" is by default staggering.  But as long as we're asking for big numbers, can I have 1.7 billion?
• Pyramid for sale.  Any offers?
• Another reason among many to avoid Vista and go for the Mac.
