This could have major second order effects. Think of all the hourly rate motels that will be put out of business because consenting adults will be afraid to go there. The Elks, Moose, Rotarian clubs won't have anymore conventions in Michigan. School teachers will refuse to escort kids on overnight field trips. Business travelers will stay in their hotel rooms and not at the hotel bar. Yellow Pages will become lighter when the escort services pull out their ads.
This is crazy stuff. Everybody knows that the spouse of an adulterer always makes out like a bandit in divorce court. The courts are letting the offender get off light by putting them in jail for life.
