We all know that two kids raised by the same parents, in the same house can turn out completely different. After the jump there’s an article from my hometown newspaper that has got to be the extreme example of that concept. More proof I got out of Redneck-ville just in time.

At 11:36 p.m. Friday, December 8, officers were patrolling east on Jones Street.
When the arrived at the 100 block, they saw Bommie K. Ridgell, 24, of Dumas, walking down the street wearing a black coat and red pants.
The officers pulled up beside him and he turned his head away from them.
The man was asked to stop and show his I.D, but he kept walking past the patrol unit.
An officer called twice for him to stop again, when the man began to run, heading west on Jones, south on Elm Street, across Choctaw then to the back door of the residence at 211 West Choctaw.
One officer fell while pursuing the suspect on foot, but the other officer followed the subject in the patrol car.
The man could not get in the door and when officers attempted to arrest him, he continued to pull away.
The other officer arrived, and Ridgell opened the back door and after a short struggle he was able to shed his coat, outer shirt and shoes and slip away from officers.
He ran into the bedroom, where he barricaded himself in the room for a short period, officers said.
His mother was there and told him to come out of the room and he did.
He was taken into custody.
One baggie of marijuana allegedly was found in each of his pants pockets.
A search of the room where he was barricaded was made, and two baggies of marijuana were found lying out in the closet.
A blue tote bag was located in the same closet with a box of sandwich bags, scissors, black do-rag, AXE deodorant, Dunhill cologne, a gallon sized zip-lock bag with marijuana residue, torn sandwich bags and a Wal-Mart shopping bag, and a gallon size zip-lock bag about one fourth full of marijuana.
Another bag of marijuana was found under the bed.
His jacket was searched where he shed it on the back porch, in his right pocket , a set of scales and ten baggies of marijuana were located, in the left pocket, eight baggies of marijuana were located.
Ridgell was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, fleeing an officer on foot, refusal to submit to arrest, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
