How bad can your life get after being married to a back up dancer?  Evidently there’s still room to fall.  Brit’s newest BFF is Paris Hilton .  That’s too damned sad because people were actually feeling good about the direction that her personal life was headed in. 

Why do rednecks make themselves such easy targets?

Cyber Monday was really good to me.  Big thanks to all of you guys that are using the Amazon portal on the right side of this page for your Christmas shopping.  It’s making my own shopping much less painful.

Next week is going to be a big one at the office as we attempt to re-set the world for the next six months.  That means we’ll be busting our asses this week to look like we are prepared for the onslaught of changes that will have to be make next week.  I had no idea when I applied for this job that being part of the Illuminati would be so hard.   Maybe they’ll transfer me to the UFO division after the first of the year.  That would be good resume material.

On to the news.

• McGwire deserves in the Hall because he and Sosa saved the game’s future.  The ‘roids he did were legal when he did them and that’s good enough by baseball’s lax ass standards.  Cal gets in by unanimous vote in his first year.
• Can you believe that Pam and Kid Rock are getting divorced?  Who had the over/under on this one picked?
• I wish I was a Ford.  Then I could burn through $5 BILLION dollars a year and still get a loan for $18 BILLION, just to have some walking around cash.
• For those of you keeping track, Madonna has officially jumped the shark.  Her concert finished fourth overall on NBC.  How sad is that?
• The Bush twins were not asked to leave the country. Yeah, right.  If you have to say that they were not asked to leave then they really were asked to leave.
• Normally if the UN said a nation was in a civil war I’d blow them off.  Since the Marine Corps is agreeing with them, I may have to take the UN serious for once.  Maybe Bush can farm Afghanistan out to NATO and focus on Iraq before 2008.
• Like most high dollar NFL players, Michael Vick is a spoiled brat.  He’s the best player on a mediocre team, but he’ll never be in the elite of the league.  Let’s all just accept that and move on.
