The world is a hard place to be. It's harder if you're stupid.

Bound to be good.jpg

But nobody ever said that it had to be this one.  In fact, part of me is thinking about seeing just how bad I can make this blog.  Any ideas on how it could be worse?  Or suggestions on who has a bad blog that I could use for inspiration?

Anybody else find it difficult to take a President serious when he’s posing from group photos at a PJ party?  Picture courtesy of the Washington Times.   Those guys love  Bush II so I’m sure the irony here was not on purpose.

Man alive, this weekend was way too short.  All I had time for was school work and dragging kids from one place to another.  Still no golf, and it is almost too cold for anything but the driving range.  Not that I mind playing in the cold, but the green are starting to be in pretty brutal shape and I don’t need anymore detractors in my game.

  • It seems that the new Bond has a hell of a set of abs, but still can’t beat a herd of dancing penguins .
  • The new Zune is a typical Microsoft product according to the Post.  Which means it doesn’t work like it should but the hype will make you buy it anyway.  iPod is still the player of choice.
  • Wii users have better manners than PS3 gamers.  That’s official word from iTWIRE.com.  It’s backed up by SDFM’s experience at the retail point of sale this weekend.  According to her the PS3 dorks had to be controlled by paint ball gun wielding Mall Security Forces.  The Wii players stood peacefully in line and didn’t attempt to riot when the units were sold out.
  • Thanks to the Internet Black Friday is no longer a tradition.  THE WOMAN refuses to acknowledge this and will be out with the herd of deal hunting soccer moms this Friday.
  • Getting nekkid on MySpace will get you fired.  How many times does this have to happen before people get a clue?
  • The ‘Skins sucked again this weekend.  At least Jason Campbell looked good in flashes.  That’s more than can be said of Brunell before he was benched or the defense at any point over the last few weeks.  Personally, I think Gibbs still has it in him to coach this team deep into the playoffs, next year.  He just needs to go back to what he always did best — run the hell out of the ball, throw deep passes to speedy guys, and build a defense that can beat the shit out of people down on the line.

There’s more to come, but don’t hold your breath for it.  No need to pass out in your cube.
