TC the Terrible

Red Sonja hits 35 this month.  Let us all celebrate the barbaric goodness of Conan’s favorite hook-up.

I’m out of the office on a business trip for the next three days.  Oh yeah, my boss only told me about it yesterday.  Let’s just say government travel is not the easiest thing to pull out of your ass at the 11th hour.  But I did, so now I’m heading out like a good little soldier.

On purpose I’m leaving the laptop at the house, which should let me concentrate on my job and maybe even get some reading done.  It is taking me weeks to get through books that should only take a day or two at most.  That’s frustrating.

Today’s talking points.

• Microsoft Zune is already taking hits from the tech world.  I hope Apple can crush this platform, but better performance does not always lead to market place dominance.  As Apple has been well aware of for years now.
• White Trash Women can still look good when they need to pay off an ex-hubby who has a sex tape.
• The count is at 141 and rising.  Is it any wonder I’m happy to be out of Memphis and in the safer environs of Washington DC?
• If you’re going to PhotoShop a picture, why pick a network anchor ?  Her dig back (wouldn’t be caught dead in that ugly gold blouse)was classic.  And classy.
• New research finds that Angus Beef causes lumps in girls’ boobies.
• Too much Internet is a bad thing.  Now they tell me.  Funny how they didn’t interview any bloggers for the article.  Surely KassyK could have contributed a few hundred lines about Internet addiction. Or how people are mean to you when you have a blog.

If I think of something else before I leave, I’ll let you know.

This is the kind of crap that I get in my mailbox. And you wonder why I stay frustrated.
