TC the Terrible NOW Saber Squelch

I got the following e-mail from a former co-worker that I haven’t seen in the better part of ten years.

It’s always refreshing to see that some people can find the silver lining.

Exactly my day today.  I hate driving in the rain around here. 

Election news is everywhere so no use getting into it here.  Except to point out the end of an era of corruption in Memphis.  The Ford family has lost its chokehold on Memphis politics for the first time in over 30 years.  This is a family that pictured themselves as the Black Kennedy’s of the South.  Which fits because they’ve both got drunk idiots in the family, break the law without going to jail, sire children out of wedlock, and the family fortune came from bootlegging.  Yep, the Black Kennedy’s of the South.

• Nice to know that the National Guard doesn’t give a shit that their female soldiers pose naked.  Hell, in Kentucky they probably call it a morale booster.
• Jesus doesn’t want you to play with snakes.
• Holy crap.  Over 8,000 calories a day?  No wonder Kirstie Alley got fat as hell.
• K-Fed and Brit have split?  About damn time if you ask me.  It is hard to believe that white trash Brit would split up with K-Fed now that he’s making the big time as a professional wrestler.

I’m headed back to the old office to have lunch with the old crew.
