The second day at my new job and I’ve just now got connected to the rest of the world. I still don’t have a phone, but that’s not too much of an issue at this point.  My Internet is up and running and I can see all the shared drives.  What I can’t get to is my Outlook files.  For some reason (laziness) my account settings are still ponting to the server farm at the other building.  That means a new help desk ticket had to be created to get that problem solved.  In the meantime my new boss is asking me questions about e-mails that he’s sent, not understanding why I can see Google, but not my e-mail.  Nice.

 

I miss my old job already.
