Damn it’s nice to have Monday Night Football back again.  The game was sloppy but there were a couple of times it could have gone either way and the fact that it was the Giants pounding the crap out of the Cowboys was just icing on the cake.  Even Mr. “I only talk about the MBA” Wilbon took time out to watch a team sport last night.  And he feels as good about it as I do.  Granted that the current broadcast team needs a 2/3s makeover but even Joey T. and Tony K. managed to be respectable at times.  God must really hate Mike Treico to make him endure those two every week.

The highlight of the night would have to be his holiness TO literally throwing the ball down when it was thrown to him on 4th and 2 yards to go.  With all the crap he talks it would make sense to back it up on occasion.  And yes he got a touchdown later on, but not when it would have done his team any real good.  The guy is a waste of oxygen. Period.

The down side of the night being LaVar cutting another season short.  Well, that and NBC’s Heroes reaching a new low on the suck-o-meter.  Studio 60 continues to be a well written and acted show that fewer people are watching each week.  I’m holding out hope that the ratings will go far enough south before season’s end that we get full frontal nudity from Amanda Peet.  A fella can dream can’t he?
