TC the Terrible

Since so many of you (a grand total of 3) have asked about the new ride here’s a picture from the dealer’s website.  I went with the 5-speed transmission and the only upgrade option being the A/C system that keeps the beer in your glove box cold.  I picked this car because I liked the styling plus I wanted something that was going to be inexpensive to buy and keep on the road.  This car fits the bill.  For a small car it feels like it sits high and definitely drives "heavy" but is still very nimble in DC traffic and has a turn radius that is almost as tight as a 10 speed bicycle.

I’m open for suggestions as to dirty words or sayings for the licence plate.  So if you have an idea that will get past the Virginia DMV let me know.

Normally I back the President’s policy decisions.  This time I think he’s acting like the total loon that Ted Kennedy really is.

The school violence summit being held in town today is a farce.  Nothing is going to come out of this but a stack of PowerPoint slides and some well crafted sound bites.  Hell the dickweeds leading the summit have already said they don’t expect to get any real work done.  Even if they wanted to, they are not going to be able to stop the violence in schools.

The core problem is that parents want to be partners with their kids, or worse friends/buddies, instead of being parents.  Raising kids has always been tough on parents but the liberal ass hippies of the 1960s chose to abdicate their responsibilities as parents.  Their kids took that approach a step further by insisting that all the hard work be done by the schools. 

It is not the job of the teacher to raise your kid.

Kids need to be raised by parents that are willing to do the tough work of instilling morals and values.  If you do not have the balls to be a parent and make those tough choices then do the world a favor and have your balls cut off now.  That way there is no chance you will infect our schools with your inferior kids.  For every kid that shoots up a school, hits his girlfriend, or bullies someone around there are two parents that failed in their jobs.  It is that simple. 

It is not the music that a kid listens to.  It is not the television they watch.  Don’t blame the Internet, chat rooms, or anything else.  Blame yourself for sucking ass as a parent.  All of this comes back to the feet of the parents and no one else. 

If you think different you are wrong.  Get over it.

Now how the hell did I miss this?  I spend one afternoon buying a car and you guys go and let North Korea start playing with nukes.  Is it any wonder I never leave you home by yourselves?  There is a time and place for a preemptive strike and it looks like we knew the place but missed our time.  Negotiations are not going to bring Kim Jong II to the right way of thinking.  Remember, this is the guy that claimed to sink 11 hole-in-ones on his first (and only) game of golf.  All hackers lie, but that’s uncalled for bullshit.

Another piece of bullshit is Metro’s latest and greatest way to make your ride better.  Replacing escalators with stairs is flat stupid.  We already have enough traffic clogs at Metro stations taking away the escalators is only adding fuel to that fire.  Plus, the fat ass tourists bitch and moan enough about simply having to walk from one place to the next.  If I have to wait on them to climb the stairs I’ll end up shooting one of them.

But I’ll have clean hands if I shoot them.  At least according to a study at Northwestern University.
