I’m starting to think that the Stanley Steemer guy is related to the Cox Cable guy because neither of them can get to your house on time, despite having a three hour window to arrive. Or maybe the rain this morning is keeping them from coming out. SDSM and THE BOY have both had their practices (today) and games (tomorrow) cancelled. That means we’ll have a full crew here for house cleaning day tomorrow.

• The Cardinals are making up for a lousy September by turning the Padres into a bunch of bitches. That’s a good thing.
• Politicians are using the ‘new media’ for political gains. Well no shit, Sherlock. Where the hell did you (the WaPo) buy your clue? This has been going on since we shoved a hot poker up England’s ass (excuse me, arse) and became our own country. Ever heard of The Federalist Papers? Or how nasty Adams vs. Jefferson was?
• In the newspaper business good bosses take it up the butt it seems. It can’t be a good sign that the guy that was willing to not cut jobs has gotten the ax. L.A. Times staffers need to get those resumes ready.
• One of my favorite buildings in Memphis burned last night. The video is impressive.
• This is proof that the courts are indeed full of crap. Too bad the guy had to turn puss-boy and apologize.
• Of course the Army doesn’t want the National Guard to have equal footing. Then the Army couldn’t keep abusing the Guard and cutting off their funds.
