The real SNL pretty much sucked the big one this weekend. Not that I’ve really come to expect anything else from it. Every couple of years a comic will come along and make a good showing before heading out the door for a bigger paycheck. With Tina Fey gone most of the good writing is missing and the Weekend Update is worse than when they canned Norm McDonald for dropping the F-bomb. It’s sad when the best version of SNL is on Monday nights posing as a drama series.

I know it’s wrong of me, but I can’t help wondering if the shooter used a flintlock or a blunderbuss. Â How fucked up is it that an Amish school gets shot up? You know that had to be the last thing that anyone was expecting. Â How high is the level of irony that they couldn’t use a phone to call for help and that one of the victims was transported in a helicopter?
What are the odds that I catch hell at home tonight over this one?
