TC the Terrible

Man I hate payday. The check hit the bank this morning and thanks to electronic bill pay I’ll be broke again in 24 hours. Damned bills. Life was more fun when I was less responsible.

for lunch is a really good meat and three place.  That’s the kind of eatery that offers a diner their choice of meat for an entree and then they get three vegetables of thier choosing.  But hell, I’m still trying to find a place that serves sweet tea.  I’m screwed on more than one level.

Lots of things in the news and on my mind this morning so we might as well get into that before the day gets any older.

• Give the Prince a break.  All he was doing was copping a feel from a buddy and she looks like she’s okay with it.  Why is it such a big deal?  It’s not like he was pissed that people were watching him do his community service time. 
• What’s the bigger shame of the pre-season this far?  The fact that
  Clinton Portis won’t have the chance to get hurt again, or that Kornheiser is going to pollute the proud tradition of Monday Night Football with more of his word vomit?  Well when your own paper says "It was enough to make one yearn for Dennis Miller,. . ." that should be your first clue.
• When will it quit being a shock that the American public is ignorant of the things that should matter?  We’re a culture of idiots.  We get it.  Now Washington Times, please move on to the next edition of your paper that won’t sell.
• I guess sticking the kids in the trunk for a long road trip isn’t a good idea.  How much would renting a mini-van have cost in the first place?  Probably a lot less than six months in the pokey.
• The Corporate Satan is losing money.  Tell me how that is not a good thing. Too bad it won’t last.  America has way too many "low price lemmings" for that to ever happen.
• 
  On-line dating is now officially a zoo.  But then that’s not really news to any of us that have tried it.  Remember ladies, if you are 20 pounds over weight your body type is not ‘average’ and having hairy legs does not mean you are ‘athletic.’
