I had to pull the Sheehan/Jack$on post from earlier this afternoon due to technical difficulties. Not becuase I was pressured into it by any particular left-wing-know-it-all political group attempting to stand up for ideals that they don’t understand.
For some reason the text and graphic work just fine in Firefox, but crashed the page when using Internet Explorer. I may or may not take the time to debug the script and re-post it later tonight.
Well, if it worked for Al Capone, then it might just work to get Barry Bonds. Or as Tom Cruise said in The Firm; “It’s not sexy but it has teeth.†I’m talking about what appears to be a tax evasion case being prepared against Barry Bonds. Since it’s not about cheating to get his home runs it won’t keep him out of the record books or the Hall of Fame, but it will get him off the field. I guess that’s all the moral victory we are going to get out of this. Keep in mind that the IRS has its’ own rules and court system where the innocent are always considered to be guilty.
The former quarterback and Annapolis is living every guy’s nightmare. He claims it was ‘sex gone bad.’ She says it was a rape. Since she’s not some football groupie slut he starts out at a severe disadvantage. Odds are he’s going to jail over this and none of us will ever be positive about what happened that night. One more reason to keep your pecker in your pants fellas.
The ‘Nats prove they can come from behind (no pun intended) and pull a big one out (pun intended that time). It seems like the new owners really understood what they were buying and went ahead with it anyway. Getting the farm system right is a solid first step for having a long term contender. Now if they can be as savvy when they have to deal with the District Council they might have a shot at fielding a real team someday.
Anybody that has ever played 18 at a public course knows what it’s like to get paired up with people that you can’t get along with. Looks like Nick and Tiger are going to get to live that this weekend too. Faldo is hard to get along with anyway, but the fact that he’s taken some shots at Tiger in the past won’t make things easier. Sucks to be them, but at least they are getting paid to be there.
And lastly, I can’t get the new Redskin stations in my office. My life seems to be none the worse.
