TC the Terrible

It’s hard to believe that some people are actually defending America’s favorite trailer trash pole dancer as being on the verge of becoming a responsible mother. Isn’t this the same woman that almost tossed her kid out of the car a couple of weeks ago? Knocked up (twice) by a deadbeat husband, career on the skids, chain smoker Britney is like Elvis in the latter days, only without as good a head of hair.

Now, you have to admit that it is hard to get more trashy than having yourMadame Tussauds make a wax statue of you sliding down a pole with your “breasts heaving.”

Today’s quick hits.

o Ok, it’s hot in the District. We all felt it yesterday when the thermometer hit 94 degrees like it does about this time every year. Is it really news that needs to be on the front page?

o Self esteem sports leagues are for five year olds learning to play the game. It’s called the pussy league when you put scoring limits on high school teams. If the other team sucks that bad, they should forfeit the season. [Thanks to Freakdaddy for the link.]

o After a couple of weeks of decent baseball, our hometown Nationals are back at it. This is not what the District waited thirty-plus years to see.

o Working moms have to make smart choices about balancing kids, husbands and careers. Yadda, yadda, yadda. Same song, same verse only this time the writer admits that it is not just famous women that have to make these choices. Funny how it took so long for her to figure that out.

o And the Booz Allen classic will most likely die after this year’s tourney. Only to be replaced by the weak as crap FedEx St. Jude Classic. I used to live across from Southwind in Memphis and know for a fact that it is one of the worst courses on the PGA tour. There are at least two municipal courses in Memphis that are better quality golf courses. Why the PGA would replace an historic event with this one comes down to Fred Smith’s cash.
