I love the way George Will skewers the liberal intelligentsia, even when everyone else is making one of them a hero post-mortem. George uses too many big words and long sentences for the average Post reader so his articles get passed over on a regular basis but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t some real nuggets hidden in them. For examplehe lays out in plain fashion how liberals view regular Americans:
” . . . as pathetic, passive lumps, as manipulable as clay. Americans were what modern liberalism relishes — victims , to be treated as wards of a government run by liberals.”
Does that sound like Bill and Hillary or what?
How Will keeps his job at the Post amazes me. Maybe there is some clause in the Affirmative Act law that says every newspaper must have at least one conservative voice on the editorial staff.
