It’s a busy day here in the office. We’re two weeks out from a major conference and the work load is starting to pick up.
I spent the weekend in bed with a case of the crud. As pumped as I was about watching Phil get another green jacket, it was hard to do anything but sleep. And wasn’t it great to watch someone other than the Golden One win it?
And we’re back to the illegal immigrants again today. I really don’t think that Hispanics can lay the same claim to a lack of civil rights that Blacks did in the early 1960s. Most black people in the 1960s were descendents of people who were brought here against their will and then traded like property. That stigma stayed with the race for generations of legal discrimination.
I have work to do. More later.
