Despite having a disclaimer on the lower right of this page I generally try to post much work related stuff.  Today, I am going to make a small exception to that policy.

I have two or three small fires burning on my desk right now.  If I was still ‘out in the field’ they would be snuffed in under ten minutes.  Because I now work in the ‘Institutional Army’ I am going thru living hell trying to get them put out.  The bureaucratic twists and turns are driving me up the blinking wall!  

Days like today, I really long for the Army that actually gets to shoot people and blow things up.
