TC the Terrible

This article is full of good ideas about how The Army should look in the future.  Too bad it neglects to mention that growing this kind of soldier takes about six years.  Something that John Kerry neglected to mention when he was pushing a similar idea in his presidential campaign.  

Good things take time people, and over all The Army is doing a good job in the Global War on Terror.  But these kinds of operations take time and cost money.  World peace is not a frozen dinner that can be popped into the microwave and be ready in less than five minutes.  Sorry if you feel mis-led by an MTV generation media based on the ten second sound bite.

It’s another big day in the THE UGLY BUILDING with lots of meetings, plenty of notes to take and transcribe later.  Let’s hope that all of the A/V equipment works.
