Can you imagine waking up as Colts fan today?  How does a team go from talking about a perfect season to getting shut down in the first playoff game?  Wasn’t this going to be the year of the Colts?  The year when Peyton finally got the monkey off of his back?  As sad as it is to say, I think Peyton may be our next Dan Marino.

The Bears gave a lot better than I thought they would, but the end result was pretty much what I expected.  Grossman proved he can play in big games and the defense proved that they are not yet in the same league as the one in the middle 1980s so they can look forward to a good next season.  In a division where they are the only team returning their head coach, and the other three teams have questions at quarterback, smart money is on the Bears to be back in the playoffs next year.

But smart money had the Colts winning it all this year too.  And it had the Patriots as the only team that could stop the Colts.  What happened with that?

More later.
