These idiots are starting to gain traction.  I can’t believe the House actually voted to build 700 miles of fence along the US – Mexican border.

I get it that way the hell too many illegals are crossing the border.  I get it that they are a strain on our healthcare and welfare systems.  I know that the crime rate goes up when undocumented workers come to town.  All of that makes sense.

What does not make sense is the amount of money that will be spent on an absurd idea.  Has anyone stopped to think about how much this thing will cost each year to maintain?  Why not string land mines across that same 700 miles of border?  It would be cheaper and a better deterrent.
