This type of story always amazes me. People today understand so little of our history that they don’t realize that this type of thing went on here too. We just don’t tell that part in American History 101.

The high today is set for 32 degrees. So what do I do this morning? I went for a two mile run. The cold took a full minute off of my normal time so that sucked worse than the temperature.
An article (see it here) in the Post today is talking about kids creating PowerPoint lists for Santa. My response is so what? Kids would use their teeth to chew lists onto tree bark if they thought it would get them more gifts. I do have to admit that FDFM makes my life easier by creating a wish list at Amazon then sending it to me. Not that I stick to the list, but it at least lets me know what she’s thinking.
The Kia will be functional again by close of business today. All it needed was a battery, an alternator, and a new drive shaft and seal. All I need to get the keys back is $1500 US. Glad that Santa is already taken care of.
Gotta do some work. More later.
