The movie won’t be ready until May, but the trailer for X-Men III is already out.  

From what I’m reading, this will be the last of the franchise so I hope to hell they put it to bed with a strong finish.  The original cast of heroes and villains is still intact which is amazing in the current era of Hollywood.  Hugh Jackman is confirmed for a Wolverine solo picture, but I have my doubts about it being worth the time to film.

Wolverine was once upon a time a great character in the comics world.  I’m not sure that he has anything left in the tank that movie audiences would be willing to pay for, and there is too much of a complicated backstory to squeeze into two hours.  The comics fans would hate the movie for all it leaves out, and the movie fans would hate it for confusing the hell out of them.

Still, I’m pumped about X-Men III coming out, and the trailers always look killer.
