TC the Terrible

In my daily job, I’m surrounded by some real numbers guys.  Not the accounting types that you find in many workplaces, but some real rocket scientist numbers crunching guys.  In fact, just listening to them can make your head hurt.

Now that type of thought is bleeding over to the sports world.  This morning in The Post Thomas Boswell applies some real analytics to the patheticness of the Redskins.  He does a great job of showing just how far the Redskins have fallen since the glory days of Gibbs I.  It’s amazing how bad this team has been over the past decade or so.  Especially since this town is so rabid for the team.

Guys use lots of excuses when they get caught with their pants down.  But this one takes the cake, so to speak.  And the sad thing is that the judge let him get off with it.  (Bad pun completely intended.)  I feel sorry for the girl that was molested, but she’s got to more careful in the future of where she passes out when she’s drunk.

I really hate mis-leading headlines like this one, “Food Critic Wins Bad Sex Award.”  On the surface it sounds like every guy’s worst fear come true.  That there were be a group of women out there comparing notes on how well guys perform in bed and then publicizes who can’t get the job done.  In reality it is an award for badly written sex scenes in British novels.  What a relief.
