As summer was winding down I posted my own set of rules for tourists riding the Metro.  The officials at Metro must have been reading my stuff because they are jumping on the bandwagon.  Who says blogging can’t change the world?

It’s been 24 hours and the world is still a sick place.

On the way to the bus stop this morning, some guy calls into the local rock station to beg his wife to come back to him.  She got pissed and left him because he can’t stop using her pantyhose to pleasure himself.  Then there is this guy in Houston, who gets caught breaking into a house and using the woman’s silky underthings for similar purposes.  What ever happened to buying a handful of spank magazines and going home by yourself?

By the way, have you heard about the student in Philadelphia that could see a couple having sex from his dorm room window? He posted a picture of them on his blog and is now in dutch with the school. And not because the pictures are of his fellow students, but because he put them on a site hosted by the school’s server.  The exhibitionist couple must have loved the extra attention.

Well, it’s happened.  The Internet Nazis here at the office have finally got around to blocking access to my blog.  That really sucks.  Now I can’t see what I’m posting.  The silly thing is that they didn’t block the blogger.com home page, so I can still post during the day.  Nerds.

On a software note, I’ve started toying with the OpenOffice suite.  I’ve spent less than an hour with it, but it seems okay so far. There is no e-mail program built in and that will discourage many potential users.  The price is right and the user features are pretty much what MS Office users are used to dealing with.  I’ll keep you posted.
