Think that you’ve got traffic problems?  Not only do we average 12 mph on the Beltway during rush hour, and today is the day before a holiday, now we have exploding fuel trucks.  I was watching this on the morning news as I was cooking breakfast for THE BOY.  Thankfully the driver was okay, and more importantly the section of blocked off interstate was not part of my route today.

And yes, rush hour in THE MOST IMPORTANT CITY ON THE PLANET does start before 0530; and yes most mornings THE BOY is up at that hour.  He’s a man with things to get done every day.  Woe be unto those that want to sleep late and be bums.
