Not much going on today. The weather is great, none of the kids are sick, and the boss is in a good mood. Tomorrow is a Federal holiday, but the kids are not getting the day off from school. That means I can sleep in (until at least 0730) and THE WOMAN and I have a noon tee time.
SDFM is wrapping up her farewell tour. She’s visiting my mom right now and pissing me off by sending photos of all the good food she’s getting to eat. If there is one thing that I don’t like (other than the traffic) about DC is the lack of a good ‘meat and three’ place. This town is crawling with Zagat four star rated eateries, but there is not a decent blue plate special to be found.
I’ll get back with something else this afternoon. Promise. Sort of.
