By the Way
I’m out of the office for a couple of days.
I’m out of the office for a couple of days.
SDFM and I went into DC yesterday to do the tourist thing and had a blast. The Marine Corps marathon was winding down as we were headed back to the house and we were stuck on the Metro with an ass-load of idiots. Other than that the trip was perfect.
When we got home THE BOY and FDSM were playing soccer in the cove. THE BOYFRIEND showed up and THE WOMAN came out too. It was good ‘family time’. BOYFRIEND even stayed for dinner.
Sphere: Related ContentThis morning in the Post Wilbon came to DeBerry’s defense. In an article full of common sense he not only defended the coach, but politely blasted Hank Aaron. Aaron has been the champion of blacks in baseball since the day he made his first major league roster. Maybe he has a right to complain about the lack of black guys playing baseball, but only because he worked so hard to make it possible for them to play.
The reality is black guys don’t really want to play baseball anymore. They are more geared to basketball, it’s the cool game these days. Today’s lifestyle is based more on speed and flash than it is patience and strategy. Basketball appeals to the people living that lifestyle, baseball doesn’t. The reality is also that at the moment, and this could change in the next five years, black guys are faster than white guys. That’s why the college coaches recruit them, and that’s why the NFL owners draft them.

It don’t get much simpler than that.
George Takei, who was “Star Trek’s” Sulu has come out as a homosexual.
It was pretty clear even back in the day that something was up with Sulu. He just smiled a little too much when ever Kirk ordered him around. Clearly a submissive, and way too damn happy to have ended up in a 1980’s San Fransico in the fourth movie. All the clues were there for us.
Now if Picard will ‘fess up everything will be in the open.
Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends, come inside, come inside. Or something like that.
Here in the ABOUT section of the blog I’m supposed to tell the reader who I am and what it is that makes me tick. Blog Law #12 states that I should share with the readers my motivation for writing, a few facts about my life, and even some notes about my job/family/hobbies/political views or interests. This is the section that allows my readers to develop closeness with me. To link our thoughts and form a deep and lasting bond.
Yeah, right.
I’m the last guy on Earth that’s going to join hands around a campfire and sing Kum Ba Yah. All that ABOUT crap is for the whiney ass bitches that don’t get enough love and attention from their so-called friends out in reality. If they even have any or know where reality is.
Want to know something about the little man behind the curtain writing this blog? Then ask me. I’m not hard to find. Otherwise, kick back and enjoy my take on life.
