I suppose there is a use for this information, but I feel a bit odd that it ended up in my mailbox today. Sort of like the other day when the same site sent me instructions on how to post bail, or find a lawyer for a friend in the middle of the night. Are they trying to tell me something? (The first step in posting bail was: “Get arrested and charged with a crime.†No shit Sherlock. Any redneck could have told me that.)
The blog got its first hit from Italy this morning. Not sure if Milano is one of the ancestral homes of the Cosa Nostra, but if some guy shows up in a jogging suit and greasy hair looking for protection money I’ll be screwed.
I’ve tweaked the look of the site a little bit. The crimson and gray was starting to look a little bland. I may have to work on it some more, but for now this is a nice little change. More of a mellow tint and tone. Sort of like living in MidTown Memphis again.
Today’s life lesson: Getting linked to from the Washington Post turns out to not be that big of a deal after all. I’ve only gotten four unique viewers from them since the link went up about 18 hours ago. It was a real let down for me.
