TC the Terrible NOW Saber Squelch

With all due respect to Freddy Fender, today was a waste.

1. The wife and I went to one of these “Coffee with the principal” things at the nine year old’s school. It was supposed to be for the parents of kids that are having problems, and it turned into a forty five minute sermon on the Gifted and Talented program.
2. Then the wife got lost after dropping me off at the job.
3. The boss is dragging his feet on approving a tasking document that has to be out of our office by the end of the week. Five will get you ten, that next week when he’s asking for the feedback from the tasking that it won’t matter that he was the one that held things up.
4. Then the wife calls to tell me about all the plans she has for me on my day off tomorrow, and to whine about twisting her ankle on the sidewalk outside of her lunch meeting.

God, I get tired of being the go to guy in my family. All I want is two days in a row of no problems.

Ok, last post for a Monday. I promise. I think. Anyway.

You know that the day is a total loss when you look around and realize that for the past hour you’ve been surfing the ‘Net looking for cool new wallpaper for your workstation PC. I did find a panel from Dark Knight Returns where Batman is kicking Superman’s ever loving ass. What a motivational picture.

Superman was always a real poser. All that power and he was too dumb to get Lois in bed. Batman turned down more tail than that wimp Kent ever thought about tagging.

Oh yeah, the new guy in the office is way the hell too noisy. He has to go.

First I lay off for a month, now I’m posting twice in a single day.

I was crushed last week. While out hitting balls in single digit temperatures I severed the club head off of my 5 iron. A quick call to the good folks at Dunlop Golf and my new club was delivered in less than a business week. It is so cool to find people that not only care about the customer but work hard to prove that they do. Of course they are based in South Carolina, so it’s not like I was dealing with a bunch of Yankees.
