TC the Terrible

The day started rough, and I even misplaced my Blackberry for a couple of hours, but it got better as it went on. Went to a briefing that went really, really well for us. Then I got back to the office and changes started rolling in left and right. I’ve spent the day swatting them back like you wouldn’t believe and now feel much better.

Probably the highlight of the day was getting in some tremendous face time with my boss’ boss. Until today I doubt he even knew my name, but now it’s all good.

The 14 year old is causing her mother fits but then, that’s her job. It’s tough on the wife because she never went through this kind of thing with her mother. She thinks I’m horrible in the way I want to treat the child. I keep telling her that beatings are legal in the District and we should take advantage of that.

It’s not like somebody shot my dog or anything, but it could be better. For starters I wrapped my knee too tight this morning and nearly lost circulation to my foot before I could get off the Metro and loosen the wrap. There were no attractive people on the train to leer at, and that’s no fun. I forgot my black socks so I’m forced to wear my ankle high running socks under combat boots, not at all a comfortable thing. Then my silly arse left my glasses at home.

This is shaping up to be a great start to the week.
